I love the lighting here, it created some strong hues and nice contrasts. Most importantly it wasn't overdone, shape of the nose isn't obscured and the complexion of her skin isn't an all obliterating white glare. The hair strands and their placement as they fray all over are well chosen as is the style of her hair and having some drape over her eye like it does. Finally the hand placement and stare into the lens evoke a basic yet impressionable look at the audience. This would be great for a magazine, or portrait sketching if one is so inclined.
